A stainless steel indicating rod, threaded into the Main Valve stem's tapped portion, moves within a cylindrical Pyrex sight tube, mirroring the Main Valve stem's movement. The housing safeguards the sight tube and indicating rod, offering visibility from two sides. A screw driver operated test cock, positioned on the Model 50 housing's top, facilitates controlled air removal from the cover chamber during start-up or troubleshooting of the Main Valve.
